Each summer, the Jolly Rogers City Pirate Festival takes over beautiful Lakeside Park for two days of swashbuckling adventure on the shores of Lake Huron. It’s a community-wide celebration where costumes are encouraged and laughter is guaranteed for all ages.

The excitement kicks off with the Pirate Parade, featuring creative mermaid and pirate-themed entries that wind through the community before reaching their grand destination at the Lakeside Park Bandshell. Once at the park, the "crew" can enjoy a full schedule of live music and nautical-themed entertainment. Young buccaneers can showcase their creativity in the sidewalk chalk contest, participate in pirate and mermaid challenges, or hunt for buried treasure during our grand treasure hunt.

With face painting, games, and prizes throughout the weekend, there is never a dull moment.
